One year ago today I was reading about Derrin's (aka Backyard Brewer, aka brewershardware.com) iBrew and I proposed the idea for what became the BrewTroller project. Today we have a fully functioning product that has met and exceeded all of our original design goals with over 60 users in the U.S., Canada, S. Korea, Australia and England. Best of all we aren't done yet. We have more ideas for BrewTroller itself and many side projects in progress or in the queue to enhance its functionality. None of this would have been possible for one or even two people to do alone.
I'd like to thank Jeremiah for all of his investment of time and money to develop and enhance the hardware platform. Without him we would be no where near where we are today.
I'd also like to thank Arnie for his work with developing the BrewTroller Remote PC software. It is a great companion to BrewTroller and will hopefully fill a niche for users who want to solely use a PC as the interface to their brewing systems.
Finally and most importantly I'd like to thank all of our users who continually help in designing the features and interface of BrewTroller by telling us what they want and for testing hundreds of code revisions.
I'm very proud of what we have accomplished so far and can't wait to see where we'll be in another year. |
